As if my dining habits needed anymore fuel added to the fire – another new food delivery service has emerged onto the foodie scene in Chicago! Enter Eat Purely – dinner on demand. As someone that loves a good meal at home, but also lacks the energy at times to make a solid home cooked meal – services like Eat Purely are truly a godsend.
The plus sides to Eat Purely are that: all ingredients are locally sourced, all meals are prepared fresh daily, & all deliveries are made within 20 minutes. [the delivery area covers a large part, but not all of, the city of Chicago – from Cermak north to Addison and Pulaski east to Lakshore Dr.]. The handwritten note from the Eat Purely team also adds a personal touch to the delivery!
For my Eat Purely delivery, I decided to go with the Salsa Verde Steak Salad + a Spindrift Orange Mango Soda – I was also surprised with a apple toffee square for dessert! A bed of arugula was topped with sweet potatoes, spiced sunflower seeds, chick peas, pickled onions, & thinly sliced seared steak. The mix of savory and sweet flavors from the salad ingredients was complimented by the creamy herb dressing. Rarely do salads fill me up, but this one was full of protein so I was left satisfied. I’d easily give this meal a 4.5 out of 5 stars – and would definitely go back for seconds.
The ease of delivery, wide range of meal options, and freshness of the meal make it an easy decision to be a frequent Eat Purely customer. While I do love making my own meals at home, sometimes a girl could use a hand after a long days work & I am a SUCKER for delivery.
